The
theme for this year’s Heart Walk
is “Activate Your Heart.” The Ashe County event
is scheduled for Saturday, May 21, at the 1904 Courthouse
in Jefferson.
Fundraising
events such as silent auctions, raffles, cookouts, and individual
donations have helped the SkyLine team to continually be one
of the top fundraising teams in the county. This year, the annual
Heart Walk raffle is
underway, with a wide variety of prizes to be given away, which
are listed below. Tickets for
the raffle are $1 each or six for $5 and can be purchased at
the SkyLine/SkyBest West Jefferson Customer Service Center. The
drawing was held on Monday, May 16.
The team wishes to thank all the individuals and
businesses who have donated items to help make the raffle a success.
All
proceeds from the raffle and donations to our team will benefit
the American
Heart
Association.
