The following steps are designed to help you assign a PC's IP address.

Step 1:
Locate the Network Neighborhood icon on the computer you are trying to assign the IP address to. Right mouse click on this icon, scroll down to the section labeled Properties, and left mouse click on it.

Step 2:
You should have a dialog box named Network pop up which contains tabs labeled identification, services, protocols, adapters, binding, etc. Under the Protocols Tab, select TCP/IP Protocol by clicking it with the left mouse button, then left mouse click the button labeled Properties.

Step 3:
You should have a dialog box named TCP/IP Properties pop up which contains tabs labeled IP address, DNS, WINS Address, routing, etc. At this point, left mouse click on the IP Address tab. In the box labeled Adapter, select the network component (or NIC card) you are trying to add the IP address to. Next, select Obtain an IP Address Automatically.

Next, left mouse click on the DNS tab. At this point, left mouse click the section marked Host Name and enter a name (you may chose any name). You also need to left mouse click on the Domain section and enter a name of SkyBest.

After you have entered the host and domain names, you need to assign the DNS server search order IP addresses. Do this by left mouse clicking the Add button under the box labeled DNS Server Search Order. Enter the following addresses (   .   .   .   ) and (   .   .   .   ).

(NOTE: You will be contacted with your DNS addresses when your SkyBest High Speed Broadband Internet service is activated.)

After each entry, left click the Add button and ensure that the address is displayed in the display box.

Step 4:
Left mouse click on each tab named in the above paragraph and verify the information you entered is correct.

Step 5:
When you are satisfied that the information you have entered is correct, left mouse click the OK button on the bottom of the TCP/IP dialog box.

Step 6:
On the bottom of the dialog box named Network, left mouse click the OK button.
